A reality check for AI ethics
Although 73% of leaders say 'AI guidelines' are indispensable, only 6% of these same organisations have established them
Alright, this recent research from Conversica reinforces what we already know. There’s nothing new here. The ethical intent to action gap is massive.
This research inspired, prompted or, maybe more aptly, triggered Mat and I to have a chat (which we recorded).
In the chat we toggle between despair / deep frustration and existential hopefulness. We cover the reality that all AI Ethics or Responsible AI ethics initiatives exist within broader system structures. We tackle the topic with intensive care. We lean into the hard stuff that is too often swept under the rug.
If this broad area of interest intrigues you, tune in (just don’t turn off or drop out… Hope you get a giggle from that!).
Let’s feel into the nuance and discomfort so we actually give ourselves a change of coming through the meta / polycrisis.
With love as always.
Oh yeah, if my musings amuse you…
