Ah yes, the noble quest to rewire the nervous system of an organization. Most aren't dysfunctional by accident. They are finely tuned machines built to suppress feeling, protect power, and call it "best practice." What you and Jes are doing is not management. It's nervous system healing disguised as org design.

Naming maladaptive patterns as intelligent responses to a broken context—that is sacred. You are not fixing people. You are showing that the world broke first, and we adapted. The work now is to remember how to feel again, together.

Beautifully put... Nervous system healing disguised as org design.

This 'learning to feel again' is so huge. Speaking from my own experience, I 'shut down' for 30 odd years (with various consequences to my own organism) before realising what was going on. This process of re-attuning, re-allowing etc. which enables a type of organismic flow I was entirely disconnected from... Is exactly the type of work that seems to hold the power to shift dynamics at various level of human organisation.

Let us invite each other into contexts where we both hold and share space, where we open and allow, where we metabolise and integrate, and where we move forward in loving embrace of our uniqueness, and deep recognition of our sacred inter-connectedness.
